Day 3: Zanjan

El Goli

Ark-e-Alishah
Arg-e-Alishah is the remained part of a fortress that dates back to the Ilkhanid period. Arg-e- Alishah is in the center part of Tabriz. It is reported that this Arg was a military castle. In the other hand, clerics stated that this place was a mosque in the past. This castle was manipulated by clerics to build another place as mosque for their prayers in this city. Its' height is 25 meters and is used as a suitable place for Friday prayers.
Kandovan village is a beautiful village with 2 hours distance from Tabriz. This village is the best place for finding natural scenery and beautiful environment. In this amazing village, there are animals such as sheep, donkeys, hens, cows, ducks, gooses, and birds. In this village, people do not behavior like cities. Village's women put on colorful Chadors and go out. Children freely play outside, shout, and laugh. Old man or Mullahs sit at the front of the houses and talk to each other and have fun there friendly.
If you would like to climb up the village locating between mountains, you should put on suitable shoes that do not bother you and do not hurt your feet. Knadovan village, this place full of natural surroundings is located on a top hil of Sahand Mountain.
In Sahand Mountain, there is a fresh river that passes through Kandovan village and makes this nice village more beautiful. If you look around the river, you will find some amazing springs on the top of the river. As stated by traditional people of the village, the water of these springs was used as a main cure for kidney diseases such as kidney stones.

Days 6 & 7: Traveling to Hamedan
Hamedan province is a great city in the Middle Western of Iran. Now, we travel to this city to enjoy other beauties of Iran guide by Iran tour. Hamedan is a cold province in which there is a lot of snow and rain in September till the next 6 months. In addition, because it has a cold winter, you can see that this city has a pleasant summer and fresh air welcoming visitors and its people. In this city, we have an eminent philosopher that wrote 450 essays on a lot of subjects. This prominent figure is Avicenna. About 240 treatises from this philosopher are in access, but the rest have been lost. From these essays, nearly 40 essays are related to medicine. There is another famous site in Hamedan city that is known to Hegmatane Archeological Palace. This significant place dates back to the 6th BC. This building was structured in the "Medes" periods. In addition, in 614 BC, ‘Kiyakesar Madi’ and ‘Nabopolasar Baboli’ were in charge of structuring this building.

Day 8: leave Hamedan and travel to Kermanshah
Kermanshah is a large city in the west of Iran. It has many populations speaking Kurdish language. It has a lot of attractive sites. This city has a rich culture and is an old city in Iran.
Taq-e Bostan
Taq-e Bostan is a complex of rock reliefs located in 6 km north-east of this city. In Taq-e Bostan, there is spring spreading in some pools.

Bisotun(UNESCO HERITAGE SITE)
Bisotun means the place of God. It is an old inscription and old reliefs by Darius the Great on the top of Bisotun Mountain in Kermanshah province. This old inscription dates back to 522 BC. Its' height is 1300 meters. It is one of the most well-known sites in Eastern countries.
Zagros Paleolithic Museum:
Kermanshah has the first Paleolithic Museum in Iran. Zagros Paleolithic Museum is a complex of stone tools and fossil bones of animals from different sites of Iran.
Day 9,10: Ahwaz (Ahvaz) visiting by Iran tour
It is the time to leave Kermanshah and drive to Ahwaz about 470 km.
The names of "Avaz" and “Avaja” were found in Darius’s epigraph. In this city, the irrigation system was applied in the Sassanid period. As a result, there were some channels including Band-e Bala-rud, Band-e Mizan, Band-e Borj Ayar, and Band-e Khak. Ahvaz was a replacement name for Susa, the name of the capital of the Sassanid Empire. After that, its name was Khuzestan. Shush (Susa) & Choqa Zanbil(UNESCO HERITAGE SITE)

This city has another significant point that should be mentioned here. Susa was the old name of Shush. Esther that was the savior of Jewish people was born in this city in the sixth century. Therefore, it has been a pilgrimage site for Jewish people over from those years till the 13th century that was the start of Mangol's invasion. Choqa Zanbil & Haft Tappeh(UNESCO HERITAGE SITE)
Haft Tappeh is an Elamite town close to the ziggurats of Choqa Zanbil, a well-known site inscribed to Iran in the world. Haft Tappeh or seven hills ruins date back to 3000 years ago. Museum found by UNESCO is an exhibition of archaeological works that represent art in this city in the past.
Shushtar(UNESCO HERITAGE SITE)

It has been the capital of Iran in the Zand Dynasty(1751-1794). Start your first day by visiting Karim Khan palace, Vakil mosque, Vakil Bazaar and Saray-e-moshir that has an amazing structure by our old architectures, Nasir Almolk mosque.
Briefly, this mosque is a jewel of photographs, it is possible to take so many beautiful pictures here that will hypnotize you. This mosque was built during the Kadjar era, its name comes from the lord Nasir-ol-Molk who belonged to the Kadjar dynasty. This mosque is wonderful. Founded by Darius I in 518 B.C., Persepolis was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire. It was built on an immense half-artificial, half-natural terrace, where the king of kings created an impressive palace complex inspired by Mesopotamian models. The importance and quality of the monumental ruins make it a unique archaeological site. It seems that Darius planned this impressive complex of palaces not only as of the seat of government but also, and primarily, as a showplace and a spectacular center for the receptions and festivals of the Achaemenid kings and their empire such as Nowroz.
The next is Necropolis. Opposite the mountain of Rahmat, ten minutes driving to the north, proudly stands the Necropolis, the magnificent burial place of Achaemenid kings. The site also provides seven bas-reliefs dating back to Elamite and Sassanid period.

Day 15: exciting Iran deserts

This desert is a large and salty desert in Iran covered by sand and 70 centigrade temperature. In this desert, you can see some Kaluts that are not found in any desert in the world. Day 16 & 17: visit Yazd (UNESCO HERITAGE SITE)

Yazd is famous for its unique Persian architecture for constructing Windcatchers. That is why this city is called the "Windcatecher city" of Iran. This city has an old history dating back to the Median Empire.
In addition, you will have the chance of visiting Mehriz village that is in the south of Yazd. Mehriz is a central district having 5 villages. It is believed that the name of Mehriz has its root in the beloved daughter of Anoushirvan, the Sassanid King. Mehriz is a famous and natural site in the Sassanid period. Saryazd has a strong castle defending the district during Sassanid period. The other historical site is caravanserai-e Saryazd that has been built during Seljuk and Safavid period.

Day 18 & 19: visiting Isfahan guided
Now, it is time to leave Yazd by Iran tour and drive to Isfahan that is 5 hours distant from Yazd. We will be for 1 day and half of a day in this beautiful city.

If we have time, we will visit one of the most famous Bazaars in Iran. This Bazaar is full of well-known artworks from Isfahan people. You pass your night in Isfahan.

Day 20 & 21: visiting Kashan

During the Seljuk period (AD 1051–1220) Kashan became famous for its textiles, pottery, and tiles, reaching high levels of accomplishment in each of these cottage industries. Currently, local textile artisans are enjoying something of a renaissance of interest in their work, but mechanization has largely led to the demise of this ancient craft. Today the town is more widely known as a major center for the production of rose water, which is sold at outlets around the main tourist attractions and at dedicated stores in the bazaar.
In this city, houses are magnificent
Kashan has many close to 50 magnificent houses that are part of the countries historical heritage currently. Be sure to visit as many as you can while in Kashan.
Known as the bride of Iranian houses is the Tabatabai house. Seyed Jafar Tabatayi a successful carpet merchant constructed this masterpiece in 1834.The one a kind Borujerdis Old House was built nearly 130 years ago by a famous merchant named Haj Seyed Jafar Borujerdi from Natanz. This house is known as the symbol of Kashan architecture. Several of these houses have been renovated to guest houses, which you can see the list and pictures of the houses here. To sum the joy of architecture in this city, let's point to the Fin Garden. Bagh-e Shah, the Kings Garden (also known as the Bagh-e Tarikhi-e Fin or Bagh-e Amir Kabir) at Fin 6 km to the southwest, and perhaps the finest surviving example in Iran, creates the contrast between the Kavir region and the greenery of the well-tended oasis below the adjoining Karkass mountain. A major part of Kashan's water was supplied by the perennial source of Suleimanieh spring in the garden. Amirkabir one of the biggest Iran ministers were assassinated in1852 in this garden.
